The logistics clusters are strategically located at the south end of the Shenzhen Bay Bridge, and are a 20- to 30-minute drive to Hong Kong International Airport and Kwai Tsing Container Terminals. Therefore, the Study Sites are very suitable to be a gateway for air and sea freight to be transported to and from the GBA. The SGMTS will also provide convenient connecting transport services to and from the logistics clusters.

In respect of transportation infrastructure, HSK/HT NDA enjoys the advantage of being the intersection of three major railways, including the Tuen Ma Line, the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Western Railway (Hung Shui Kiu to Qianhai) under planning and the proposed Hong Kong Island West - Hung Shui Kiu Rail Link. Together with primary distributor roads and other roads connecting with areas within and without, HSK/HT NDA will become a transportation hub in future.
